TAPASI DAS: A MEMOIR

-- Subhajyoti Das, CEO, English Total Care

Where art thou, my Sun?

The flowers in my garden

get dried without thy light;

neither petals are mine

nor the love of the sweet artists

that come to me

to create their sweet home

unless thou art there.

But I do know

thy part lives in my chlorophyll

and unseen my smell thy lives can feel;

alike is thy presence

felt if not seen in the canvas of night.

Thou make me anew if I die by hatred of pests

but thou the saviour make no complaint

'gainst tiny cells that unto thee are buried

as thou trust the spirit of my garden

lies in thy life.
